To subtract tidy numbers

For maths we were learning how to subtract using tidy numbers. Tidy numbers are numbers that end with a zero. Examples of  tidy numbers are 30,40,50 because they end with a zero.

To answer 64-7, I took away 4 from 64 which makes 60.

Then i  took away 3 which makes 57.

After that the full answer is 64-7=57,after that we checked the answer on  a scale.
