facts about Jean batten and Amelia Earhart

For our vein diagram we had to we had to facts both of the that who were Amelia Earhart and jean batten that flew planes. we Had to do facts about them and what they are. For both it means we had to do fact about both of them and what they and they were born. I really like this one because it  is really cool that they fly planes and they are aviators.

Task 3 Week 1

I have chosen the charity SPCA because I like animals. The charity SPCA helps over 40,000 animals in New Zealand every year. They help the animals that are either sick, injured, abused or abandoned. I chose this charity because it was a fun activity to do and it makes be learn things that i dont know.

For summer learning journey is we had to exoplanet what 3 super powers what we want. The super powers that i got was lightning flying and night vision. Why i piked flying is it easy to get to places without walking to places and for night vision  is i can see in the dark.

For kiwi can it was the last week of kiwi can lesson. we all had fun because we played some games. we played hot potato musical cones and billy Billy bop.for our first game we played was hot potato. We all had to go in circle and the person who has the ball and someone say go then your out. The next game we are playing was musical cones we put cones in the straight across. Then when the music starts we had to start dancing because if you dont  dance then you are out. Our next game is billy billy bop. for billy billy bop we had to say bop because if you dont then your out. next one was bop if you bop then you are out.

for writing we were doing topes for narrative we had to write about the ship. how we write it we had to look at the photo. Once we look at it we had to write it in a row. we could do bullet point and put the ideas and what happen.

maths

For Maths  we were making a quiz game for maths. we had to use fraction measurements 4 operation statistics geometry place value. we did a incorrect slide but we had to show how to do it. I will finish this quiz and i will blog it next week. 

Reading

LI: to skim and scan for information. For reading we were  doing  reading treasure hunt.  we had to find a book that had a director speech and reported speech And speech vocabulary then we had to see who had the most and add them up.

for cyber smart we were dong we  were doing how to find a legal image. we could do it as a movie a online voice recorder. We had to talk about to find a legal image from a web site.  We had to record it on a voice recorder

For kiwi sports we were doing 1v1. we had beat the champion. if we beat the champion then we had to switch. we all had to take  turns. We  learn fore hand and back hand. The person who serve is the challenger.

For Maori we were doing the time face.  we had to copy the Maori words and put then in a Maori dictionary. then we had to set the time and take a screenshot and put it their.

Today for kiwi can we learning about respect others difference. For our enagerie  we were playing mirror. How we played it we had to copy the mirror  moves and the other one had to do a move. After that  we had to swap and do their moves and copy their moves. After that we were talking about respect others we had to talk about it.

LI:to play doubles tennis.

Doubles tennis is when two players play against another two players. Both Players on each team  should haves turns at hitting the ball the person closer to the ball should hit the ball. We practised by playing doubles.

Today for kiwi can we were learning about how to respect others.
every one has their beliefs. How to respect is hold your tongue.  Other way how to respect is learn different cultures. 
What we talked about was  Christmas was good or bad. After that we played a game called spot the difference. One person had to turn around and close there eyes while the other person had to change their appearance and the other person had to figure out what they changed.

Today for kiwi sports we were learning how to full serve  we had to hit the ball before it hits the ground. we had to hold the tennis racket with a forehand and our backhand. We had to throw the ball up and hit the ball diagonal.

LI: to add speech to a narrative. For writing we had to put speech marks punctuation and exclamation mark. we had to put the speech marks when a charter in the book is talking. the document we did was the three little pigs.

for kiwi sports we were serving the ball right.  we first had to hit the ball when the ball hits the ground. after that we were throwing the ball to person. when we throw the ball we had to hit a cone and you get a point. after that we had to throw the ball above our head and hit the ball.

For reading i have read a book called i spy. we had to read it and after it we had to do the follow up task.  We had some slide that we could draw about a charter in the book and other one was describe a charter. for describe the charter we had to write what he looks likes and how he feels and what he acts like.

This task is called places to visit in Japan, I had to find facts about Mt Fuji and give reasons of why I want to visit Mt Fuji. Two fact that I learnt was that Mt Fuji is actually a stratovolcano and it's the tallest mountain in Japan and also one of my reasons were,"I want to visit Mt Fuji because it’s a snow mountain and I haven’t played in snow for a long time."

In this task  I was doing a slide called Rugby 
Event.  What we did is we had to connect the Rugby players position. Then we had to put the players number and the caps. 

Time word

We are doing rugby world cup challenges. These challenges have three different categories which are maths numeracy and inquiry. Our first challenge was to find out the times that the rugby world cup final is going to be at in several countries, some of the large countries like the USA and Canada have different time zones in the east and west coast.

Goldberg machine

LI: To apply knowledge of simple machines to create a rube gold berg machine

 We did our Rube Goldberg machines. Our challenge was the putter challenge. We had to push cars into a marble. The marble rolls down on a Incline Plain. Then the marbles hit the Dominoes and the last domino has a pin. The pin will pop the water balloon the one of us hits the golf ball with a putter into a cup. We used Marbles, Putter, Dominoes, Golf ball, Pins, Balloon. String, ruler and water. The simple machines we used was the Incline plain, Wedge, Pulley, Lever. The dominoes were challenging to go through because every time the marble goes down the ruler the marble only hits some of the dominoes but not all of it. I would change the dominoes with a card board track instead. So the marble will roll smoothly on the card board into the last domino with the pins on it.

In this task I had to find out five important facts about Japan.One information that really interested me was that the flag meant the sun. I realize that New Zealand is a really really small country compared to Japan because the population of Japan is 126.8 million and the population for New Zealand is 4.794.

LI:To learn about  historical events in the past Rugby World Cups.
I had to research three memories about events. what i else  did was i had to put in the event.  We could put a photo that we really liked.   

Swimming

LI; water safte skills.
For swimming we trying to swim. we had to go to a wall and go back to the same that went to. then we were trying to float on our backs. how we did it we had to put our belly up and tummy up.Then we had to get a noodle. how we did it is the same thing is going to each wall  but floating on our backs but we could not kick or run.
then we went to big pools. what we did is we had to go in safe. how we got in is we had to hold on the wall. then we had float on our backs.

For writing we had to make a advertisement. We could make a poster a tv add.  What yo do for the poster  you  have to put a photo in and how much it coast. then we had to put our description.

 We learnt how to face our challenges and attempt them. We looked  at 3 different types of challenges and wrote about our feelings when we face those challenges. We figured out  coping strategy in a groups of three.

For reading we where doing where questions. We had to  read a book. Then we had to answer two where question 1 who question and 1 who questions. Then after we read the book we had to record our self on screencastfie.

For commenting i had comment on lukah bog poast. He has done rearly good work. And hes has done  good thing.

Basic facts

For basic facts i had to try to get the answer right. We had a online stop watch.  My timer was 5 minutes and 21 seconds. We had to try to get them done fast.

Today i was ding ssr selfie. I read a book that was called pirates. It had a lots of facts. The main charter was drake and sir  Francis. It was good book to read.

LI:what is lip slide turn rotate.For Math we had to find the right path. We had to add arrows to show the right path. Then we write sentences. We had to explain the right path. We could move clockwise or anti clockwise. We could slide up or down or left an right and we can turn or rotate.

Swimming

LI: Water safety skill.
For swimming we were trying swim with a broad and kicking our with our face in the water.  Then we had to float on our backs. We had to wet our ears and relax.Then we did dolphin dives. We had to follow the leader. How we did it we had to by one by one. Then we did a challenge that was who could be under water the  longest then she say who won . How we did it we all had to go in a circle. After she will say 321 go and we will put our face in the water.
