writing

For writing we learn about information report. A structure of a information report is title,introduction,information and conclusion.

We had to find facts about our animal we pick. I had to find facts about a lion where it lives,What does it look like,and what does it eat.

For maths i learned about angles,measuring and coding. To practice these skills, I played a game called Go Home! Go Home is a game where my partner and I traveled between houses.

First I rolled the dice two times to show where I started from and went to.

Next I measured the distance from where I started to where I turned with a ruler.When i went forwards i got 24 mm.

Then I measured the turn using a protractor. The turn I had to measure was anti-clockwise .When turn anti-clockwise it was 80°.

Reading

LI:to identify vocabulary to summaries the text.

We learnt about vocabulary and summarizing.  Summarizing is taking the piece of information but writing it in your own way.The vocabulary helps us use good words. The key words we had to find was verbs,nouns and adjectives. Verbs are a action word. A adjective is a describing word.A noun is  words that a name of someone or a place.

Information report

Watch this video whats a information report is.

Length

For math we were learning about length with subtraction and addition.

Length how long something is. We use a ruler to measure the paper so we can see if we got 23 or 28 center meters.

Next we put them together as we tape  them and use the ruler  to see if it makes 51 center meters.

Right there question is a answer that in the book or point to it.

Think and search if you connect the right dots so you get the right photo.

Homographs,homonyms

Homonyms are words that have the same pronunciation, spelt the same and different meaning.
Homographs are words that are spelt the same, different pronunciation and different meaning.









To subtract tidy numbers

For maths we were learning how to subtract using tidy numbers. Tidy numbers are numbers that end with a zero. Examples of  tidy numbers are 30,40,50 because they end with a zero.

To answer 64-7, I took away 4 from 64 which makes 60.

 Then i  took away 3 which makes 57.

After that the full answer is 64-7=57,after that we checked the answer on  a scale.

Vocabulary of light and sound

I learnt light and sound vocabulary. My group completed the slide called draw animate act. We did 4 words each.

The first word we picked was transparent. I stood in front of glass that transparent and made a video of it.

The second word we picked was pitch. We found a photo of pitch to explain what it means.

The third word we did was reflect. We made a animation of light bouncing off a mirror.

The last word we did was echo. We drew what a echo means.

Properties of light

Light makes things bright. Light has lots of properties.

One property of light is light cannot go though opaque objects.

A second property of light is when you flash a light in a transparent color cellophane it can change the color.

The third property of light is when light travels through a prism it can make a rainbow colour.
