Ancient Egyptian numbers

Ancient Egyptian are drawn by pictures. There are 7  kind of ancient Egyptian place value symbols.

To make 240, use 2 coil for the  hundred and 4 long ropes for tens.

Thousands, ten thousands and hundred thousands are picture of a frog, finger and lotus. For example if writing 255,000 in Ancient Egyptian it would be two frogs, five fingers and five lotus.

Ancient Egyptian symbols were use to communicate with other people.

Properties of sound

Sound is created by vibrating (shaking) objects. Sound has 3 properties. Sound can travel around corners, sound travels in all direction, and sound dissipates as it travels.

LI: masking art. For art we were doing masking art. We use masking tape  for the outside of the frame and the inside of
the  frame to make the design. We color the white space so the color is nice.We look for the color that are mix up so we dont color them.The colors that i used was red,green,blue,orange,gold,black,brown and purple. We used the masking tape so we dont color the outside of the frame and to make the shapes sharp lines.

LI: To investigate homophones.

We learn about homophones,homographs and homonyms. Homophones are words that sound the same spelled different and different meanings. Homographs are words that spelled the same, different sound and different meanings.Homonyms are words that are  spelled the same,  sound the same and different meanings.

Reading

For reading we were finding Adjective and Verbs.We had to find verbs that are adjective and verbs that describe dads snore. We also had to find verbs how dad snores. We had to find the different tenses. We had to describe how the loud noise with verbs.

number sentence

LI: to learn the order of subtraction.
Maths problems are written in a special order called a number sentence. the first number in a number sentence tells the number that is added or subtracted. Number sentence can not be changed otherwise the whole meaning changes.

wrong and correct sentence

LI: To write a complete and correct sentence

We had to use correct sentence. We use capital letters at the start,for names and city's.We use full stop at the end of a sentence. we use exclamation mark for  a shout. A homophones are words that sound the same but there not spelled the same. fanboys can make a incorrect sentence into a right sentence.
